In terms of intelligent driving, Nio ET5 is equipped with the latest NIO NAD (NIO Autonomous Driving) technology, which gradually realizes scenes such as high speed, urban areas, parking and energy sharing, and provides safe and relaxing autonomous driving from point to point throughout the process. All ET5 series come standard with the Aquila and Nio hypersensory system, all series come standard with the ADAM and Nio supercomputer platform.This means that the ET5 is also equipped with the NAD driver assistance system equipped with lidar.
Nio Aquila is equipped with 33 high-performance sensors, including 11 8-megapixel high-definition cameras, 1 high-accuracy ultra long-range lidar, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, 2 high-accuracy positioning devices, 1 joint car and road perception and 1 enhanced driver perception, which can generate 8 GB of image data per second.
To ensure sporty performance, the ET5’s front and rear axle counterweight has reached 50:50, and the front and rear have a five-link suspension. It is also equipped with four-piston aluminum-alloy calipers integrated into the casting, designed by Weilai, with a brake distance of 33.9 meters.
It takes only 4.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 kilometers. At the same time, Nio ET5 will provide three types of energy batteries, namely 75 kW * h (triple lithium + lithium iron phosphate), 100 kW * h (triple lithium battery) and 150 kW * h (solid-state battery). Under CLTC conditions, battery life is 550 km, 700 km and 1000 km.
On the software level, there are 4 Nvidia Drive Orin chips with up to 1016 BT of processing power. It has full-stack algorithm computation, self-learning and security redundancy capabilities, and its computing power is 7 times that of the Tesla FSD.
The Nio ET5 front seats are equipped as standard with 12-way electric adjustment and seat heating (three-speed adjustment). In addition, the front seats can be equipped with additional ventilation and massage functions, and the rear seats can be equipped with additional heating functions.
