1 charge – 1 thousand kilometers
This is the electric car math announced in China for the new Nio ET5 model. They promise that it will get a modification with a 150 kWh battery: the power reserve will be enough for 1 thousand kilometers (and some more!).
For comparison, the Nio ET5 comes standard with a 75 kWh battery with the option of a more powerful 100 kWh battery.
Now for the best part: the new battery is compatible with all Nio models, so the upgrade will be available to everyone. Last year they did that with the Nio ET7: in a live broadcast, William Lee, the founder of the car company, drove 1044 kilometers in 14 hours on a single charge. Impressive!
